REACH SOCIETY

 

Established in 2010, Reach Society aims to provide young Black men with the tools needed to achieve their potential in all domains of life. 

 

RARE RECRUITMENT

 

Are you an academically gifted member from a BAME background, yet are still unsure what to do post-graduation? RARE recruitment might be just the resource for you.

 

TARGET OXBRIDGE

 

Academically gifted, BAME and always dreamt of attending Oxbridge? Target Oxbridge (the non-profit branch of RARE recruitment) provides free training and interview practice for students who make it through their rigorous screening process. .

 

THE AMOS BURSARY

 

Established by Baroness Valerie Amos in memory of her parents, the Amos Bursary was established in 2009 to provide young Black men with the professional mentorship and guidance needed to meet their academic aspirations.

THE ARMITAGE FOUNDATION

 

Established in 2016 by medical student Leanne Armitage, the Armitage Foundation provides coaching to 14 year-olds from minority backgrounds, with a view to increasing their representation within the medical field.

 

MELANIN MEDICS

 

Melanin Medics provides academic support and mentorships to aspiring doctors as, medical students and practicing physicians of the African diaspora. 

 

AFRO-CARIBBEAN MEDICAL MENTORS (ACMM)

 

ACMM works closely with Melanin Medics to provide support for aspiring doctors and medical students of the African diaspora. 

 

BLACK YOUNG PROFESSIONALS (BYP) NETWORK 

 

A platform for young Black professionals to connect. Established by Kike Oniwinde (Time Magazine, Europe '30 under 30' 2019), BYP is a platform that allows young Black professionals to connect, collaborate and help each other. 

 

BRITISH ASSOCIATION OF PHYSICIANS OF INDIAN ORIGIN (BAPIO) 

 

A highly influential voluntary organization led by physicians of Indian origin, BAPIO addresses the professional needs of numerous communities.
